In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice Human Rights JK lashed out at the Indian Army thrashing a family in Tral town of Pulwama and injuring a female member.

The IFJHRJK Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, in a statement issued in Srinagar said this is not the first incident in which Indian Army has beaten up civilians.

He said for the past many months the Indian Army has been involved in a number of incidents wherein the Indian soldiers not only barged into houses and thrashed civilians but also harassed and assaulted commuters and pedes-trians in different parts of north and south Kashmir.

Untoo said that on Monday night the army per-sonnel from Yagwani camp in Tral barged into sev-eral houses, ransacked household goods and ruth-lessly thrashed a family.

He said that one lady was admitted to hospital after she suffered injuries due to the thrashing by troops.

Untoo said many people from Shopian in south Kashmir and Sonawari in north Kashmir have re-ported the abusive behaviour of the Indian army saying that they have to face the wrath of the occu-pational troops every day.—KMS
