Tehran, Baghdad stress expansion of agri, veterinary coop

Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Mohammad-Kazem Al-e-Sadegh and Iraq’s Agriculture Minister Abbas Jabr Al-Ali Al-Maliki have stressed the need for signing memorandums of understanding on agricultural and veterinary cooperation between the two countries, IRNA reported.

In a meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday, the officials exchanged views on ways of expanding agricultural cooperation between the two countries.

Al-e-Sadegh, in this meeting, pointed to the capabilities and new technologies of Iranian knowledge-based companies and expressed Tehran’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in various agricultural fields. —Tehran Times
