Minister of Social Welfare Department, Mir Tariq Ali Talpur, chaired a comprehensive meeting with additional Directors, Deputy Directors, Secretary Sajid Jamal Abro, and Director General Nisar Ahmed Shaikh from the province’s 30 districts. Held at the Training Institute Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, the gathering aimed to assess the performance of district offices and address challenges in implementing welfare activities. The session commenced with a Quran recitation, followed by a warm welcome to the Minister and guest officers from across Sindh. Each district representative showcased their work through multimedia presentations, highlighting achievements and hurdles, particularly concerning staffing and infrastructure issues hindering social welfare operations.

Instructing the Director General (Administration) to meticulously document the districts’ concerns, Minister Talpur emphasized prompt redressal. Any encountered challenges, he stressed, should be promptly communicated for timely resolution and community support. The Minister commended the progress and dedication of social welfare officers, encouraging them to persist in their service delivery for community development.
