Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader and National Assembly member Aftab Siddiqui has said that development works are being carried out in the city with the funds released by the members of the National Assembly. Many sewerage and other schemes are being worked on in NA-247. Through this fund, the work which has been stalled for years in the city is being completed. Development has started in Karachi. He expressed these views while talking to the media on the occasion of inauguration of a road to be constructed under MNA fund in Lines Area. He was accompanied by PTI Karachi President Khurram Sher Zaman, Member National Assembly Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain, PTI leader Imran Siddiqui, Tauqeer Ahmed and others. Aftab Siddiqui said that the only major problem in the city is the delay due to the incompetence of the Sindh government. The federation is playing its full role in the development of the city. We demand the Sindh government to complete the Sindh government as soon as possible.Karachi is not being given its share of water. The mayor should be given powers so that he can do whatever he wants.PTI Karachi President Khurram Sher Zaman said that all the promises made by the Prime Minister to Karachi are being fulfilled. PPP has ruined Karachi. PPP is not even able to deliver in Sindh. All the development work in Karachi is being done by the federal government at present.He further said that a major water crisis is going on in the city. OPDs are closed in hospitals. If there is a patient, where will he go? Maternity wards are also closed. The Sindh government has spent Rs. 750 billion on health. Sindh Health Care Commission is not doing anything. We will give a tough time to PPP in the Sindh Assembly session. We will ask the Chief Minister about health system and also about the Minister of Health. Dr Amir Liaqat also said, Imran Khan’s soldiers can be seen not only on TV but also working on the road. The second wave of Corona has come. Later, PTI central leader Aftab Siddiqui and PTI Karachi president Khurram Sher Zaman distributed rations in Orangi Town No. 14 area. Imran Siddiqui, Tauqeer Ahmed and Asif Bhashani were also present on the occasion. Khurram Sherzaman said that the people of Orangi Town have voted for PTI in large numbers. Efforts are being made to address their issues on a priority basis. The biggest problem here is water which we will take steps to solve soon.
