A ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s House Karachi for the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board to conduct operations in all the districts of the city.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Legal Adviser Barrister MurtazaWahab, Administrator Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, and MD Sindh Solid Waste Management Board Zubair Ahmed Channa were present.
Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has said that under the clean Sindh vision of Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto, after Karachi, the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board will carry out sanitation activities across the province.
The scope will be widened and the province will be brought in line with international standards under the guidance of Chief Minister Sindh. Zubair Ahmed Channa, the MD SSWMB, said that the sanitation situation in the districts where the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board has been serving for many years is far better than other areas.
According to Zubair Ahmed Channa, thanks to the special attention and guidance of the Chief Minister and Local Government Minister of Sindh, the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board will be operating in Korangi District and District Central of Karachi from August, which was a demand and dream of the people.
MD Solid Waste Zubair Ahmed Channa, vowed that the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board would soon perform its duties within the whole province and play a key role in fostering a bright and progressive vision of the Sindh government.
