Something is surely amiss

WHILE the 3-year old Kashmiri boy sitting on his grandpa’s chest in a pool of blood, qualifies Trump, Netanyahu, Modi and the World Body collectively for Nobel’s Peace Prize, and Trump Administration Report yet again accuses Pakistan of unsubstantiated ‘safe terrorist havens’ operating from its soil, condoning Modi’s mayhem and extermination of Muslims and issuing Kashmiri domicile certificates to twenty five thousand Indians, there should be no mincing of words any longer in concluding as to who stands where. The lines are clearly drawn. “It is just as well”, says noted defence analyst Lt Gen Amjad Shoaib (R), “that the Indian PM declined Trump’s mediation offer over Kashmir over which Pakistan’s Prime Minister had nodded instant approval, because had Modi taken the offer he would certainly have been awarded by confirming the status quo over the issue by the patently partisan arbiter, on the same pattern as endorsement of Israeli settlements in West Bank Palestine”.
With Israel actively participating in each Indian incursion; still nursing its wounds of the Ramazan War of 1973 at the hands of Pakistani Air Force pilots flying Missions for Arab countries and itching to settle scores ever since, and the present puppet rulers in Afghanistan aiding Indian-US-sponsored TTP and Daesh and the BLA operating from India and Afghan soil in Balochistan, one does not see who the Pakistani Foreign Minister is addressing in airing concerns over Indian manoeuvres. To say the least, all this is admission of abject failure of the Interior Ministry to track down and eliminate such enemy cells which appear to have been brewing across the country. Such has been Pakistan’s comprehension of friends and foes, that Dr Ishrat-ul-ibad, the main murder suspect of noted luminary Hakim Saeed, slain when he was Governor of Sindh was instead rewarded and made Governor serving the longest tenure of 8 years; now sitting pretty in the cozy Muttahida lap in London. Something is surely amiss in Pakistan’s approach to its maladies, which requires serious soul-searching and a rear-guard action.
Every other day, you are informed of terrorist attacks in targeted areas carried out by enemy agents through various methods in which casualties on the side of Pakistan’s defence personnel are matched by the attackers if not more; thanks to the free-hand being given to another serpent in the making, the so-called Pushtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) and its mercenary leaders sitting in Pakistani Assemblies. Destabilising Balochistan being the next Indian objective soon after accomplishing severing of East Pakistan, its open support to the Balochistan Liberation Army which targets non-Baloch minorities ever since unearthing of arms in an Iraqi diplomatic consignment meant for the BLA, points in that direction. Far from clearing the landmass of paid insurgents from across the border as claimed by our security apparatus, the Indian-supported BLA has displayed its capacity to hit places like the Stock Exchange Karachi the commercial hub of the country.
Brahamdagh Bugti and Harbiyar Marri’s Indian hospitality being no secret, Balochistan has kept brewing all the time with major terrorist incidents culminating in the arrest, confessions and sentence of Kalbhoshan Yadev; active service Indian mastermind of espionage assigned to destabilize Karachi and Balochistan. A fresh wave of violence in Karachi targeting Rangers patrolling parties becoming far too frequent with Altaf Hussain’s murder conviction of Dr Imran Farooq, some nabbed culprits in Karachi identified as MQM London sleuths, and their supremo behind the reactivated Indian-sponsored move of ‘Jiay Sindh’ being no coincidence, the vigil ought to have been redoubled.
Now that one of the principal Altaf aides Mohammed Anwar has confirmed Indian funding to the London-based Muttahida Chief and promised to further unearth his leader’s treasonable offences, the PTI Government rather than immediately move for immediate extradition of the convict to Pakistan and try the renegade Indian mercenary wrapped in the Mohajir cloak, for countless other murders including elimination of his first Party ChairmanAzim Tariq in 1993 about whom intriguingly no one talks about any more, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister merely ‘informs’ the people of Pakistan about India activating its sleeper cells in Pakistan. Stories abound the press and electronic media about resurgence of old Indian puppets, while new ethnic mercenary outfits like PTM supported by two Parliamentarians are being allowed the political podium in an open affront to the writ of the Government. In this Godforsaken country, RAW and NDS-aided insurgents, bring down the national flag and hoist one of BLA over the Residency in Ziarat; a symbolic monument of independence graced by the Quaid-i-Azam with total impunity, and the PTM disallows participants in a public meeting to carry the national flag openly accusing Pakistan’s defence forces for the plight of inhabitants of FATA displaced as a consequence of Army action in Waziristan against embedded insurgent groups after the Army school massacre.
Successive Governments including the present one, which were supposed to take ownership of action under the National Action Plan and undertake mass rehabilitation work, have not only failed to do so but also allowed enemy agents like RAW-CIA sponsored PTM to spit blame on to the defence forces, despite the men in khaki acting beyond the call of their duty, voluntarily carrying out the bulk of the task assigned to the civilian Government, by establishing communications, building roads, schools, dispensaries and even shelters for the displaced; their area having since been merged with the KP, narrowing chances of enemy incursions in the area. Pakistan has been under a multi-pronged attack particularly ever since its detonation of nuclear devices in response to that of India which were only nominally protested, but the tirade against the Pakistani nation which refuses to submit; having been repeatedly bitten and let down by its Imperial Masters in the past, has been accelerated by the enemy after Pakistan’s CPEC partnership with the People’s Republic of China, by openly targeting Gilgit-Baltistan aimed at frustrating the Gwadar opportunity; a fall out, both Islamabad and Beijing must have anticipated. Pakistan must brace up for the hybrid war.
