Smart Lockdown in Central District of Karachi has been extended till December 16. A notification was issued in this regard on Thursday. Certain areas will remain sealed for another 14 days. It has been decided to keep the lockdown in a special area of the city for another 14 days. In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner Central has issued a notification. Areas of Azizabad, Aliabad, Karimabad and Yasinabad will remain closed. Areas of Dastgir, Nazimabad, Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Shadman Town will also be sealed. Apart from them, North Karachi, Muslim Town and Firdous Colony will also be affected by the micro-smart lockdown. In the meantime, specific houses in 82 areas of Central District will be sealed. and the micro-smart lockdown will remain in force till December 16.
