Sindh Election Commissioner, Sharifullah, confirmed that all arrangements for the local body by-elections scheduled for tomorrow have been completed. Over 400,000 voters, both men and women, are expected to cast their votes in various districts of the province. Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Sharifullah stated that a total of 271 polling stations have been set up, with 247 of them classified as “highly sensitive” or “sensitive.”

He assured that the Election Commission had taken every measure to ensure the elections proceed smoothly. Regarding security, Sharifullah clarified that the deployment of Rangers at polling stations would not be based on the PTI party’s preferences, but rather according to the recommendations of the relevant District Returning Officers (DROs). Joint Election Commissioner Nazar Abbas added that the delivery of electoral materials was in its final stages, and citizens had full trust in the Election Commission to conduct a fair and secure election.
