Speakers at Shura Hamdard combined online meeting expressed solidarity with the ongoing struggle for freedom in Kashmir and condemned the atrocities committed by the Indian occupied forces against unarmed civilians.

A Shura Hamdard online meeting was held yesterday on the topic: “Kashmir wants peace”, presided over by Justice (r) Haziq-ul-Khairi, who attended the meeting alongside Mrs. Sadia Rashid President Hamdard Foundation Pakistan via Zoom from Hamdard Corporate Head Office.Members of all Shura chapters Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, and Peshawar attended the meeting. They offered condolences and prayed for late Barrister Rashid Munir Ahmed (husband of Mrs. Sadia Rashid), Speaker Shura Hamdard Lahore – late Mrs. Bushra Rehman, and former Vice-Chancellor of Hamdard University late Prof. Dr. Ismail Saad.

Members were of the view that calling Kashmir a jugular vein of Pakistan was not just a mere political statement of Quaid-e-Azam, but a historical fact.

They said: “Kashmir shares a deep-rooted religious, cultural, and traditional connection with the region of modern-day Pakistan for centuries. Pakistan needs to prepare itself on ideological, diplomatic, and military fronts to fight against the tyranny and human rights violations committed by India in Kashmir.

India brutally subjugates Kashmiris and violates their rights on a daily basis. This has caused a backlash in the Muslim world. Pakistan needs to capitalize on this growing resentment against India in the Muslim world by launching a social media campaign to expose India in the eyes of Muslims all over the world.
