In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unknown persons hurled second grenade in a span of few hours towards Indian troops in Bonbazar area of Shopian district on Wednesday.
senior Police officer told media in Srinagar that militants lobbed grenade from a distance when forces were conducting a cordon and search operation in the area; however no loss of life or injury was reported. Pertinently, earlier in the day a grenade attack was carried out in the same area of Bonbazaar, Shopian.
Till this report was being filed searches were underway.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told media in Islamabad, today, that the UN Security Council is going to hold a session on Kashmir in New York, today. It will be the fourth UN Security Council’s session since India illegally abrogated Article 370 of its constitution and revoked IIOJK’s special status on August 5, 2019.
