In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, military operations launched by Indian troops in Rajouri and Poonch districts entered into its 29th consecutive day, today.
The troops continued operations in Thannamandi and Mendhar areas of the districts. On the other hand, the troops along with paramilitary and dreaded Village Defence Committees personnel launched operations in several areas of Reasi district.
Meanwhile, Indian troops also continued cordon and search operations in different areas of Srinagar, Budgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipore, Pulwama, Islamabad, Shopian, Kulgam, Ramban, Kishtwar and Doda areas.
The people in the area are harassed in the name of frisking and searching. On the other hand, Indian troops during house raids arrested three youth identified as Sarwir Ahmad, Hafiz Ahmad and injured Sahil Bashir Lone in Pulwama, Islamabad and Shopian districts.—KMS
