In a bid to address the pressing issue of energy scarcity and affordability in Pakistan, Schneider Electric (SE) has launched a mission aimed at providing cheap energy solutions for the nation’s underserved communities, with the backing of the government.
During the Access to Energy Seminar held at a local hotel, experts from both local and foreign domains, along with media representatives, gathered to discuss energy efficiency and the challenges faced by the country. Schneider Electric Pakistan’s Country President, Humayun Akhlaq, highlighted the critical importance of addressing Pakistan’s energy crisis.
He emphasized Schneider Electric’s commitment to not only tackling this issue in collaboration with the government but also leveraging modern technology to provide energy solutions to rural and suburban areas.

Schneider Electric’s plan aims to extend affordable electricity resources across the entire country, with a particular focus on rural communities.
The seminar saw the participation of notable figures such as Ms. Sabina Khatri, Founder and Chairperson of Kiran Foundation, Sohail Japanwala, a C Level Executive, Markam Specialist from Schneider Pakistan, Qarat Aamir, and Executive Secretary of Pakistan Academy of Engineering, Professor Dr. Naseem A.
