Saudi envoy, Secretary Religious Affairs see off Hajj pilgrims from capital

Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs Zulfiquar Haider along with Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy saw off the Hajj pilgrims at Islamabad airport here on Friday.

The flight PK 717 carrying 372 pilgrims departed to Madina from Islamabad.The intending pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the Ministry of Religious Affairs for hassle-free arrangements.

Addressing the ceremony Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy said that he was very delighted to see the blessed pilgrims off as only those who are permitted from the Holy Land.

Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs Zulfiquar Haider congratulated the pilgrims saying that they were very lucky to be chosen for Hajj. He informed that Directorate of Hajj tried to extend best services to them like past years adding that around 99% intending pilgrims underwent the training which was conducted twice this year.

The event was joined by senior officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Pakistan Hajj Mission.
