DUBAI – Pakistan’s opener Saim Ayub advanced 57 slots to attain a career-best 23rd slot with 603 rating points in the ODI batters ranking announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday.
Left-handed batter was in a purple patch against South Africa, scoring 109, 25 and 101 runs as Green shirts made a series clean sweep 3-0.
His team-mate Babar continued to lead the list of ODI batters with 795 rating points, followed by Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who achieved 765 rating points. Shubman Gill is sitting at third position with 763 rating points.
South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen’s rise by eight spots to fifth on the batters list with 743 rating points after hitting back-to-back fifties against Pakistan in the ODI series.
Shaheen Shah afridi dropped to third place in the ranking for ODI bowlers with 662 rating points. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remained on the top of the list with 669 rating points.
Australia’s Travis Head lead the list of T20I batters with 855 rating points. Babar Azam is at sixth place with 712 rating points. Mohammad Rizwan is at eighth place with 704 rating points.
West Indies Akeal Hosein led the list of T20I bowlers with 707 rating points.
India’s Jasprit Bumrah is on the top of the Test bowlers list with career-best 904 rating. Pakistan’s Noman Ali is at ninth place with 759 rating points.
England’s Joe Root is leading the list of Test batters with 895 rating points, followed by his team-mate Harry Brook (876).
Pakistan Test vice-captain Saud Shakeel is at 9th place with 724 rating points. Babar Azam is at 15th spot with 670 rating points.
