Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, stated that the recognition of the Islamic Emirate is contingent upon the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
Mikhail Galuzin during his visit to Uzbekistan added that Moscow maintains its working relations with Kabul and emphasizes the need for an inclusive government in Afghanistan that includes representatives of all ethnicities.
“The issue of recognizing the leadership of this country depends on forming an inclusive government with the participation of all political forces, a government where representatives of all Afghan ethnicities and religions are present,” Mikhail Galuzin said as quoted by Russian media.
In response to these remarks, Sohail Shaheen, the head of the Islamic Emirate’s Qatar-based political office, said that the current government is already inclusive.
“Representatives of all ethnicities are currently present in the government of the Islamic Emirate, and along with this, five hundred thousand former administrative officials are working in the current government. The reality is that some individuals who supported the occupation and are now abroad are no longer representatives, but all ethnic groups are represented in the government,” Sohail Shaheen said.
Simultaneously, several political analysts said that the interim government should respond positively to the legitimate demands of countries and employ skilled and professional individuals in various sectors.
Gul Mohammaduddin Mohammadi, a political analyst, said: “There may be some vacancies in the government; however, I hope that the government will employ skilled and professional individuals, and it should also accept some other demands of the Afghans, including providing their rights in education and other sectors.”
Sayed Bilal Ahmad Fatemi, another political analyst, stated: “When Russia recognizes the Islamic Emirate and enhances its security and military interactions, it automatically thwarts American plans in the region and their intelligence strategies. Therefore, the Russians should adopt a clear and correct stance on this matter.”
Previously, India, Iran, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and several other countries have consistently emphasized the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan; however, the Islamic Emirate had requested these countries not to interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs. .—Tolonews
