Russian deleg meets with tourism minister

A Russian delegation, led by Consul General Andrey Viktorovich Fedorov and including Assistant to CG Pavel, Vice Consul on Culture Ruslan M. Prokhorov, and Ms. Natalia, met with Sindh’s Minister for Culture and Tourism, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, on September 5.

The delegation also included renowned compère and program host Yusuf Bashir Qureshi and Secretary of Culture. The delegation expressed their interest in enhancing cultural exchanges between Russia and Sindh.

They proposed organizing a Russian cultural event in Karachi in collaboration with the Sindh Dept of Culture, aiming to provide opportunities for both Russian and local artists to engage in joint programs. The delegation emphasized their desire for both populations to become familiar with each other’s cultures, fostering greater mutual understanding. Minister assured the delegation of the Sindh government’s full support in this endeavor, highlighting the longstanding, friendly relations between the people of Russia and Pakistan.
