The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee strengthened by 32 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs 176.06 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.38.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 176.9 and Rs 178.4 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro was depreciated by Rs 0.27 and closed at Rs 201.91 against the previous day’s closing of 202.18. The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.54, whereas a decline of Rs 0.29 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 241.84 as compared to its last closing of Rs242.13.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 09 paisas to close at Rs 47.93 and Rs 46.91 respectively.—APP
