Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that when we came to power in 2018, economists were saying that the country would default, but by the grace of God, the PTI government has successfully dealt with all the challenges.
He said this while addressing a function held in his honor at the residence of Chaudhry Ansar Farooq at Machhi Khokhar Sialkot on Friday.
The governor further said that Corona has hurt the economies of the world’s strongest nations, It has managed to deal with the same dire situation as well as increase exports, workers are not available to work in the textile units in Faisalabad. Governor said that Rs. 170 billion sponsored to 15 million deserving families affected by Corona, during this difficult time, with the help of 65 NGOs, rations were delivered to 2 million people through volunteers.
‘Perhaps it is the result of the prayers of deserving and poor people who managed to overcome Corona today,” he said. He said clean water would provide to everyone through these projects.
