Rescue 1122 marks Kashmir Solidarity Day

The Punjab Emergency Services (PES) Rescue Service organized the screening of short film title: CURFEW”, at Rescue Headquarters to show solidarity with Kashmir cause. The senior officers of Rescue Headquarters and Emergency Services Academy and a large number of rescuers attended the screening event. The 40 minutes long film is produced by Panwar Films USA and Pakistani and USA artists performed in this film. The film shows sufferings of Kashmiris and highlighted the Kashmir cause as a humanitarian issue.
Speaking on the occasion, DG Rescue Punjab Dr Rizwan Naseer paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of Indian Occupied Kashmir and said we all are with the Kashmiris for their right of independence. Kashmir is the lifeblood of Pakistan and we being Pakistani are raising our voice to show solidarity with our Kashmir brother and sisters. All officers and instructors prayed for peace and prosperity of Pakistan and Shuhada of the nation and above all for the independence of Kashmir.
DG Rescue said all Rescuer must know about the new map of Pakistan has been endorsed by the federal cabinet, is fully backed by the entire political leadership of the country. As per Prime Minister this new official map will henceforth be used in the curriculum. He emphasized that the Shuhada Kashmir efforts will not waste and I hope Kashmiri would get independence one day. Insha Allah, he added.
Besides that under supervision of all District Emergency Officers, special seminars and awareness walks have been organized in all districts of Punjab to show solidarity with Kashmir. Rescuers distributed awareness pamphlets to the general public and observed a one-minute silence to express their solidarity with Kashmir.
