Sindh Rangers conducted a series of raids in the province’s major cities, including the southern port city, over the last month and recovered goods worth millions of rupees. According to a Sindh Rangers spokesperson, non-custom goods and narcotics worth more than Rs70 million were recovered during the raids conducted in February. The raids were based on intelligence reports, the official added. The recovered goods have been returned to the relevant authorities, the spokesperson added. During one of the raids last month, Rangers had arrested 19 suspects on charges of involvement in the Lyari gang war, drug-trafficking, and street crimes.
