Ramzan moon sighting in Pakistan: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Peshawar today (Monday) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan 2024 in the country.

Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the central committee meeting. The meetings of Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also be held at their respective Headquarters simultaneously.

The Met Office said the moon for the new Islamic month was born at 2 pm on Sunday, adding that there are strong chances that Ramzan 2024 will begin on Tuesday in Pakistan.

In a statement, PMD said Ramzan’s moon age will be more than 28 hours at the time of sighting next day on March 11.

How to Report Moon Sighting in Pakistan?

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman has urged Muslims across Pakistan to participate in the moon sighting event. He said any person, who sees the moon, can report it to the relevant district committees, which will convey it to the central body.

Is tomorrow 1st Ramadan in Pakistan 2024?

Ramadan 2024 in Pakistan is expected to begin tomorrow (Tuesday). However, the final decision in this regard will be made by the government’s committee.
