LAHORE – The Punjab government on Saturday announced transfer and posting of six Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) in various regions across the province.

Mr. Syed Khurram Ali has been appointed as the new DIG Logistics and Procurement at the Inspector General’s Office in Rawalpindi.

Mr. Babar Sarfraz Alpa will assume the role of Regional Police Officer (RPO) in Rawalpindi, transitioning from his previous position in Sheikhupura.

Taking over as the new DIG in Sheikhupura is Mr. Atif Ismail.

Besides it,  Mr. Mohammad Azhar Akram has been appointed as the DIG of Investigation and Monitoring at the Central Police Office.

Mr. Mohammad Shahzad Asif Khan will now serve as the DIG of Security and Administration at the Special Branch in Lahore while Mr. Salman Sultan Raja has been designated as the DIG of Establishment at the Central Police Office.
