Punjab LB polls to be held on Dec 4

The Punjab govt on Sunday decided to hold local bodies’ (LB) elections on Dec 4 on non-partisan basis. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Law Minister.
In the first phase, elections will be held for village council and neighbour-hood council.
In the second phase, tehsil council and metropolitan elections will be held in January.
