The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed candidates on Sunday decided to boycott the Senate elections in Sindh. Addressing the press conference in Karachi, PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said: “We will step back into the political system after taking back our mandate. Those who snatched the mandate are ruling.” “The lawyers had led from the front in terms of participating in the struggle for real freedom,” he added. Sheikh asserted: “Right now, only nine lawmakers in the Sindh Assembly have a real mandate.”
