People held a protest rally against the opening of a wine shop in Surankote area of Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants of rally expressed resentment against the opening of wine shop in Potha area of Surankote. A large number of people including political, religious and social representatives took part in the rally.
The protesters expressed anger and marched to-wards the wine shop in Potha but the Indian police and other paramilitary personnel intervened and stopped them from moving ahead. They urged the administration to shut the wine shop permanently.—KMS
