A protest demonstration was held in Bagh city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir against the Indian Su-preme Court’s verdict that validated the Modi government’s illegal actions of repealing the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, a large number of people participated in the demonstration organised by the AJK chapter of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjaal Movement. Holding banners, the protesters raised high-pitched slogans against India.
Addressing on the occasion, the speakers said the people of Jammu and Kashmir reject the Indian apex court’s ruling. They said the Kashmiris never accepted India’s illegal occupation of their homeland and have been continuing a struggle to get rid of it since 1947. They said this struggle will continue till the Kashmiri people achieve their cherished goal.—KMS
