In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, today, said Kashmir dispute is an internationally recognized dispute which needs to be resolved in changing geo-political situation and emerging new world order.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said this while ad-dressing a condolence meeting held for renowned Kashmiri scholar, writer and freedom leader, Abdul Hameed Karimi, in Baramulla, today. Abdul Hameed Karimi passed away in Rawalpindi, yester-day.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is playing a great role in highlighting the Kashmir dispute throughout the world.

“We support dialogue process but it should not be for power-sharing or administrative adjustments but for the resolution of the long-pending Kashmir dispute,” he said.

Senior Hurriyat leader said any bilateral process will not serve the real purpose, therefore, it should involve all the three parties to the Kashmir dispute, Pakistan, India and the real representatives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said resolution of the Kashmir dispute is now imperative for peace and development in the entire south Asian region including Pakistan and India.—KMS
