In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have begun online registration for granting domicile certificates to Kashmiri migrants and displaced persons living outside the territory.
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, TK Bhat, told reporters in Jammu that an app had been launched for the registration of Kashmiri migrants and displaced persons and the application process for registration has begun.
Any Kashmiri Pandit and displaced person who may have left Kashmir in 1944 before Independence and has any proof of owning or possessing immovable property in any part of Jammu and Kashmir on or after 1944 is entitled to domicile of Kashmir.—KMS
