Probe initiated into DI son’s aerial firing videos

Sindh Home Minister ZiaulHasanLanjar has initiated an inquiry following the circulation of viral videos on social media showing the son of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) East AzfarMahesar engaging in aerial firing.

The videos depict DIG AzfarMahesar’s son, Asher, brandishing various weapons and indiscriminately firing shots in multiple locations, including from a moving vehicle.

Expressing concern over the matter, Minister Lanjar has directed the Karachi police to conduct a forensic examination of the videos and take appropriate action against DIG Mahesar if found culpable
