Addressing Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers on the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the party’s unwavering dedication to Pakistan and its people. He declared that Pakistan’s true superpower lies in its people. “If there is any superpower, Pakistan also has its own superpower, which is the power of its people,” Zardari said. Highlighting the party’s accomplishments, Zardari pointed to the reversal of the verdict against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, achieved 45 years after his execution.
He reiterated the PPP’s steadfast loyalty to the federation, its provinces, and the nation, stressing the importance of safeguarding the country. Zardari assured the public of the party’s commitment to tackling challenges, including providing basic necessities such as water and gas.
He pledged to uphold the rights of all provinces—Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh—under the party’s vision for an inclusive and prosperous Pakistan.
