LAHORE – Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart Sardar Saleem Haider Khan is likely to get Punjab governorship.
Reports in local media claimed that notification of Sardar Saleem’s appointment for constitutional role is likely to be issued on Friday night or on Saturday. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto picked him for the key position.
He will then replace Baleegh ur Rahman who came to the office in Mid 2022.
Sardar Saleem remained a member of the National Assembly from 2008 to 2013 and served as a minister in two cabinets. PPP leader also served as a Prime Minister’s aide on Overseas Pakistanis during the last government.

Pakistan Peoples Party leader Faisal Karim Kundi was picked for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governorship.
