PPP Sindh President and Chairman Sindh Relief Committee Nisar Khuhro on the instructions of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has issued instructions to deposit one month’s salary of PPP senators, MNA and MPAs from Sindh in the relief fund. He said the Sindh government and PPP will help the rain victims in every possible way including provision of rations. “Rain victims will be resettled in their homes.” Khuhro said the administration of the affected districts has been directed to spray mosquito repellent immediately to protect the rain victims and their livestock from mosquitoes in the camps. Relief camps are also being set up by the PPP in the rain-affected districts, he said, adding the houses of the flood victims have been surveyed and they will be rehabilitated. The Sindh government has pardoned Abyan in 20 districts that have been declared disaster-hit And agricultural loans are provided by banks, including the National Bank, which are subordinate to the federal govt. Khuhro said that PPP demands of the federal govt.to waive the agricultural loans of the people of the rain-affected districts of Sindh.
