In a significant move signaling the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) strategic positioning ahead of the fast-approaching general elections, Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari announced PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the party’s official candidate for the office of Prime Minister.
The announcement came during the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting held at Bilawal House, where key party members expressed unanimous confidence in the leadership of both Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The high-profile meeting, attended by all members of the PPP Central Executive Committee, focused on crucial discussions about the party’s election strategies, manifesto, and the prevailing political landscape in the country.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari earlier had announced to contest election from NA-127. The PPP chairman held a meeting with various leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at Bilawal House in Lahore.
