The Islamabad Police arrested 18 criminals including proclaimed offenders, recovered weapons, narcotics and other valuables during separate actions in different areas of the federal capital on Wednesday, a police spokesman said. In line with directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Aamir Zulfqar Khan, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Ud Din Syed issued directions to all zonal officers for renewed efforts against those involved in anti-social activities.
Following the instructions, Aabpara police arrested accused Fahim Akram and recovered 107 gram heroin from him. Bhara Kahu police arrested two accused Farhail Abbasi and Usama Zahid and recovered two pistols from their possession.
Bani Gala police arrested two accused Usman and Ejaz and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. Karachi Company police arrested accused Farooz and recovered looted cash from him. Tarnol police arrested accused Rizwan for having four 30 bore pistols. Noon police arrested accused Kashif and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol from him.
