The Ayubia Chair Lift controversy has further deepened when Police registered criminal case against Galliyat Tahafuz Movement (GTM) over the written complaint of Galliyat Development Authority while on other hand GTM not only got bail before arrest (BBA) of their activists but also chalked out a comprehensive strategy for challenging the long term lease of 110 kenal land to a private company at all legal forums.
Additional Session Judge VI Abbottabad has accepted Bail Before arrest (BBA) petitions of Chairman Galliyat Tahafuz Movement (GTM) Sardar Sabir, Senior Journalist Sardar Iftikhar Ahmed and Muhammad Khalid resident of Toheed Abad in a case registered against them at Police station Dungagali on the complaint of Galliyat Development Authority (GDA) over the dispute of Ayubia Chair Lift. Syed Mudassir Shah Tirimzi, Additional session Judge VI has allowed them pre arrest ad-interim bail to all three accused in FIR No. 395 dated 5.10.2021 under sections 506/147/149/427 PPC on furnishing bail bonds of rupees eighty thousand each with local sureties.
Earlier Dungagali Police station has registered case against the accused on the written complaint of Assistant Director Administration Galliyat Development Authority (GDA)in which Police was asked to lodge FIR against the nominated persons including Chairman GTM.
