LAHORE – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N ) leadership would hold an important meeting to discuss the wheat purchase crisis and problems of the farmers on Saturday (today).
The meeting would be held at the party’s Model Town Secretariat to discuss strategies concerning the wheat purchase crisis in Punjab.
The development follows a recent consultative meeting where Nawaz Sharif emphasized holding accountable those responsible for the wheat crisis, as highlighted by Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin during the session.
PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif and party president, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who has been urged by Nawaz Sharif to participate, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and other leaders would be present.
Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Asif, Provincial ministers and relevant officials would also be there.
The discussion would conducted on different matters including a briefing on wheat procurement, party reorganization as well as preparations for the upcoming PML-N general council meeting on May 11.
