Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) has resented the transfer of Director Private Schools Prof Salman Raza, terming it a political transfer to appease the private school mafia.
PDP Chairman Altaf Shakoor here Wednesday in a statement said the PPP government is Sindh is not tolerating honest and hardworking officers in education department. He said the owners of private schools are not happy with honest officers but they need corrupt officials to carry out their malpractice of looting parents and students with both hands. He said the private school mafia has turned education into a currency making machine. They are making a windfall at the cost of hapless parents.
Altaf Shakoor said the transfer of an honest officer from education department just to give a free hand to private school mafia would politically backfire and harm the ruling PPP in coming local government elections. He said the government of Sindh should at least spare the education department from its traditional corrupt practices. He said allowing more corruption in private schools would destroy this sector.
He demanded of the government to withdraw the decision of this political transfer and adopt policy of deputing honest officers to check corruption of private school mafia.
