For export of PATCO-PARC branded food commodities and import of high quality milk & meat, PARC has inked two different agreements with Tukhum Traders (Pvt.) Ltd and Oaks CAF(Pvt.) Ltd.
Under the agreement with Tukhum Traders, PARC branded food products will be exported to Oman. For introducing Pakistani products in Oman, a PARC display centre will also be established. Initially, Rice & honey will be started to export very soon.
With this agreement, PARC is globally introducing its research based food products. By putting them through the quality tests, PARC is demonstrating its commitment to quality assurance and aim to represent Pakistani agri. research products in international market as said by Chairman PARC Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan. He further added that this step will generate revenue for agricultural R&D. He also added that PARC is entering into new regime of its products. After testing in Pakistan, we are introducing Pakistani brands globally. Oman is our first landing place and from it, we shall cover the whole middle east.
Under the another MoU signed by PARC with a private organization, Oaks CAF will provide high quality semen of milk and meat producing cows by importing Korean breed which will be used to improve potential of local breeds. Ryegrass is a high quality feed for animals to increase their milk & meat production.
Experiments of Ryegrass & its feeding to livestock will also be conducted. With this MoU, dehydration plants and their technology will also be provided to PARC for experimental purpose. This machinery will be utilized to lessen post harvest losses and it will also provide high quality processed fruits.
