Pakistan’s foreign reserves drop by $54mn

KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reached $13,262.5 million as of January 26, 2024.

As per the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, central bank’s foreign reserves stood at $8,216.5 million.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5,046 million.

During the week ended on January 26, 2024, SBP’s reserves decreased by $54 million to $8,216.5 million due to debt repayments.
