Pakistani pilgrim suffers heart attack during Hajj

A Pakistani pilgrim suffered a heart attack during Hajj in Mina following which he got admitted to Alwadi Hospital on Monday.

The Haji was later shifted to King Abdullah Medical City on the advice of doctors. According to the Saudi health department, the Pakistani pilgrim was given proper medical care and his condition was out of danger.

Meanwhile, the Hajj rites are going on in Makkah. The pilgrims keep moving from Mina to Arafat. The biggest rite of the Hajj, Waqoof Arfa, would be performed later Monday. The Khutba (address) would be delivered from Mosque Namrah. Dr Sheikh Bandar Balila will deliver Hajj address.

The pilgrims will spend tonight in the open sky in Muzdalifah. Eidul Azha will be celebrated Tuesday in Saudi Arabia. Stones will be thrown at devils. The pilgrims will fulfil the tradition of Prophet Abraham (AH) and will shave their heads.—INP
