Islamabad
Pakistani nation is expressing full solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir while celebrating the Defence Day, today, as the Kashmiris and Pakistanis share strong religious, historical, cultural and geographical bonds with each other.
A report released by Kashmir Media Service in connection with the Defense Day, today, said that on September 6 every year, the Pakistanis remind the world that the Kashmir dispute is the unfinished agenda of Pakistan’s completion and no power on earth can stop Jammu and Kashmir to become a part of the country.
On this day, the people of Pakistan assure their unwavering support to the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle. The day is celebrated in Pakistan and across Jammu and Kashmir to honor the sacrifices rendered by Pakistani soldiers in defending their borders, the report added.
The Kashmir freedom movement is also intended to further solidify the defence of Pakistan, the report said and added that the Kashmiris’ struggle is for ensuring defence of Pakistan.
In the light of deep love for each other, the report inferred that nobody can damage the oneness of Pakistanis and Kashmiris and Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had rightly called Kashmir Pakistan’s jugular vein.
Pakistanis never left Kashmiri people alone and will also not do it in future, come what may, the report said while quoting the statements of Pakistani politicians from across the board and the Pakistan army’s readiness to go to any extent to support the oppressed people of the occupied territory.
However, the report deplored the silence of the world community over the blatant violation of all international laws by India particularly after the abrogation of Article 370 in the territory. It urged the world to shun its indifference and prevail upon India to stop human rights violations in Kashmir.—KMS
