Pakistan and Mongolia are intensifying efforts to enhance their economic ties, with a meager trade volume of just $4.8 million prompting calls for revitalization. LkhanaajavMunkhtushig, Deputy Head of Mission of Mongolia, stressed the urgency of bolstering bilateral trade relations during an event at the Korangi Association of Trade Industry (KATI). Highlighting Mongolia’s robust economic growth, Munkhtushig urged Pakistan to leverage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for expanded economic cooperation. Korangi Association of Trade Industry (KATI) officials echoed the sentiment, proposing reciprocal trade visits and simplified visa procedures to facilitate smoother exchanges.

Deputy Patron-in-Chief ZubairChhaya emphasized the importance of strengthening ties, while Vice President Muslim Mohammadi called for opening banking channels and direct flights between the two nations.Caption: KATI President JoharQandhari presents a shield to Mongolia’s Deputy Head of Mission LkhanaajavMunkhtushig, in the presence of ZubairChhaya, NighatAwan, Muslim Mohamedi, Nadeem Khalid, GulzarFiroz and TimuleinDashtisreen.
