A photographic exhibition was also organized by the Pakistan Mission to highlight the continuing torture and brutal repression carried out by the Indian Occupied forces in IIOJK over the period of 73 years since illegitimate accession of Jammu and Kashmir.
An event was organized by Pakistan Mission to the United Nations to observe 27th October as Kashmir Black Day. Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations delivered his keynote address via video link.
First Secretary Jawad Chattha read the messages of the President and First Secretary Rajeel Mohsin read the message of the Prime Minister of Pakistan emphasizing the support and solidarity with Kashmiri people for the realization of their legitimate right to self-determination.
First Secretary Jahanzeb read the message of the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the occasion.
Representatives from OIC, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia also made the statements. Deputy Permanent Representative Aamir Khan made the closing remarks at the event.
Dr. Shaher Awawdeh DPR of OIC, DPR of Azerbaijan Mr. Tofig Musavey, Ms. Bilge Kocayigit, DPR OF Turkey also spoke at the occasion and expressed their heartfelt solidarity and support for the rights of Kashmiris. First Secretary Zulqarnain Chheena read the statement on behalf of Saudi Arabia.
A special video documentary developed by the Information Section of Pakistan Mission to express their solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their struggle was also played.
The event was concluded with the prayer for the success in the struggle of Kashmir’s cause.
