RAWALPINDI – Massive blow to Fitna-Al-Khwarij and other terror factions as forty-three militants have been gunned down in ongoing security operations in Pakistan, ISPR said.
In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations said security forces neutralized 43 terrorists since December 9, 2024, through extensive Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan. These operations have dealt a significant blow to groups such as Fitna-Al-Khwarij and other terrorist factions operating in the regions.
On the night of December 12-13, security forces launched an IBO in Lakki Marwat District, where they successfully engaged a terrorist hideout, resulting in the death of six militants. This brings the total number of terrorists killed in KP to 18 since December 9.
In Balochistan, security forces continued their successful operations on December 13, eliminating ten terrorists in two separate IBOs conducted in Musa Khel and Panjgur districts after an intense firefight. With this, the total number of terrorists neutralized in Balochistan since December 9 reached 25.
Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to continuing these operations until peace is restored in the regions and all terrorist elements are eradicated.
