RAWALPINDI – A soldier of Pakistan Army was martyred and sixteen other troops, including an officer were injured as violent mob of Baloch Raji Muchi movement attacked security personnel in Gwadar district in Balochistan.
ISPR shared an update, saying the brutal assault on soldiers resulted in martyrdom of 30-year-old Sepoy Shabbir Baloch, a resident of District Sibi.
The military’s media wing condemned violence accompanied by malicious propaganda on social media, featuring fabricated images and clips intended to garner support for unlawful protest.
Despite these provocations, security forces exercised extreme restraint to avoid civilian casualties, ISPR said.
Forces emphasised that the violent actions of the mob are unacceptable, and those responsible will be held accountable. Masses are advised to disregard propaganda, stay calm, and cooperate with law enforcement to maintain public safety and order.
