To mark the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a photo exhibition titled ‘Quaid-e-Azam Kay Shab o Rooz’ was organized in Punjab Arts Council (PAC) on Monday.
Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmad was the chief guest of the exhibition.
Addressing the participants of the exhibition, Chief Guest Waqar Ahmad said that Quaid-e-Azam fought for the Muslims on the basis of two-nation theory. Under the leadership of the father of the nation, Pakistan emerged as an independent state in 20th century.
He said, by following the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam, the nation can overcome the problems and difficulties of the present day. The reason for our downfall is that we forgot the edicts of Quaid-e-Azam. Currently, Pakistan is facing uncertainty. To solve it, we need to follow the words of Quaid-e-Azam, he added.
Assistant Director Muhammad Suleman said that we are on the path of development in the field of literature and culture as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam. We have to unite and reiterate our determination to stick to the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam. He said that in order to achieve progress, the principles of unity, faith and discipline of the leader must be followed.
Portraits of Quaid-e-Azam and rare photographs of his life long journey were put on display in the exhibition, a large number of people liked these photographs.
