Officers directed to ensure availability of essential items

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza has warned that negligence wouldn’t be tolerated in abundance supply and quality of essential commodities in Ramazan Bazaars on the part of government officers and officials at all in the district.

He issued theses warning while addressing the meeting of Price Magistrates and Incharges of Ramazan Bazaars held to review to provision of edible items to consumers on cheaper prices than open market without any shortage.

ADCR Imran Asmat, ADCG Hamid Nasir Goraya, AC Hafizabad Murad Hussain and AC Pindi Bhattian Sheroz Rehman also attended the meeting. DC said that Ramazan Bazaars were setup to provide relief to the fasting people during holy month of Ramazan. He directed the concerned officers to ensure security and continuity in availability subsidiary 13 items and all necessary facilities to consumers in the Ramazan Bazaars of the district.

He urged the Price Magistrates to continue strict monitoring of open market for ensuring implementation on Price List of essential commodities s that menace of artificial inflation could be discouraged as well as to protect consumers rights.

Meanwhile. AC Pindi Bhattian visited various shops and received Rs.55000/= fine from three shopkeepers involved in violate price list of the district administration. She warned that zero tolerance policy would continue to provide maximum relief to the people.

On the other hand Deputy District Health Dr. Zaheer Abbas has sealed clinic in village Veneki Tarar. According to details, Dr. Zaheer Abbas received information that a quick Asghar Ali was busy in treatment of patients in his clinic in Vaneki Tarar. He raided the said clinic and found a person busy in treatment of patients without any justification. Dr. Zaheer Abbas sealed the clinic and started further action.
