India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet against eight Kashmiris in a concocted case of hatching conspiracy to carry out attacks in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The NIA filed the charge sheet in an NIA Special Court, Jammu, against Naseer Ahmad Malik, Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather, Rayees Ahmad Sheikh, Yawar Rashid Ganai, Suhail Ahmad Khan, Shahid Ahmed Shergojri, Anayat Gulzar Butt and Jahangir Ahmad Dar – all residents of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The case was initially registered on 11 March at Pulwama Police Station and re-registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on 8 April.

In the chargesheet, an old allegation like these people provided transportation and other logistics support to mujahideen who, according to the chargesheet, were planning to carry out attacks on Indian forces, was leveled against the detainees.

It is no secret that India under Modi is targeting the Kashmiri youth on the ridiculous charge of ‘potential’ mujahideen or over-ground workers in the occupied territory.—KMS
