India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency continues its crackdown in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to victimize the Kashmiris for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the NIA sleuths accompanied by Indian Army, paramilitary and police personnel have been conducting house raids and searches in Pulwama, Awantipora, Shopian, Islamabad, Sopore, Baramulla and other areas for the last several days.

The residents of these areas told the media that several youth have been arrested during the last few days.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership has said that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government has snatched all their basic rights. They said the continued house arrest of senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, for the last four years and ban on his political, social and religious activities is the glaring example of how India is denying the Kashmiris their basic rights.—KMS
