ISLAMABAD – Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that another party would be formed till May of this year and consultations were underway in this regard.
“Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Miftah Ismail and others will be part of this new political party,” said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking to the reporters outside a NAB court in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Khaqan Abbasi said that there is an unfounded case against him; his fifth year started in the NAB courts, it took nine years before, now only five years passed.
“If difficult decisions are not made today, the matters will not progress, so the spectacle of NAB should end, no officer of the country is ready to work, they fear NAB, as NAB cases are made, they can also be ended, the NAB institution has been established but the people have not benefited from it, it was heard that the PML-N announced to abolish NAB,” he added.
Earlier, during his interviews at different news channels, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the elections were not held fair. The people, he said, would one day strongly react, because the results were not being accepted, so the elections became controversial.
“Even if the constituencies are opened on demands of the PTI, it will not make any difference. Because we have ensured the system of how to do rigging, and now these riggings cannot be addressed because when you open the bags, all the mistakes will have been corrected, the rigging involving Form 45 and 47 cannot be caught.
The former PM said that there is only one solution to this dispute is that the Supreme Court should summon the presiding officers and ask them to swear on Holy Quran about Form 45, ask whether this Form 45 belongs to you or not, if the solution to the problem is to be found, then this is the solution, if elections cannot be held, then correct it, the Supreme Court can find a solution, if this is not done, then this government cannot run, anyway, there is no competence in it.
He went on to say that the so-called alliance could be supported but for how long as the finally decision would be made on the streets, because the public would speak up one day.
“So, these people need to think that whether they want to run the country or just to handle the chairs. There is no other way to run this country without consensus. They have to talk to Imran Khan. Even if one accepts or not but it is a fact that the PTI took seats, so the judiciary, military and political leadership would have to sit together,” he added.
